A Brief Overview of the School Improvement Plan

The school’s priorities for the coming academic year are as follows:

Outcomes for children and learners

  • Introduce a Curriculum to address the needs of the school population returning to school in September following a second national lockdown

Quality of Teaching, Learning, and Assessment

  • To develop and implement when needed a Remote / Blended Curriculum
  • Ascertain where the need is falling the return to school of all children in September 2021
  • Address gaps in english, maths and reading

Personal Development Behaviour and Welfare

  • To extend the employment of our Parent Support Worker to continue our work with families
  • To host two student social workers
  • extend the remit of the school counselor
  • Maintain our Flagship School  Status for the national Inclusion Quality Mark


Leadership and Management

  • Further, develop our school as a STEAM School
  • To provide Family Learning opportunities in school e.g. for example maths, reading, and e-safety
  • To develop the impact of the Governing Body.
