How to Apply for a Place

If your child is due to begin their school career in September, at the start of the next academic year...

please make contact with the school and ask us to let you know when you can make an appointment to visit the school. This gives you an opportunity to meet key members of staff and have a guided tour of the school given by the Head Boy & Head Girl.  If you would like to speak personally to the headteacher, please let us know.

If your child is already of school-age...

we strongly encourage you to contact the school in order to discuss your situation with the headteacher.  You may like to make an appointment to have a look around.

After this, if you would like to apply...

you need to do so via Durham County Council, who handle all school admissions.  Their policies and procedures are outlined in detail on their website.  Please follow the link below for further details and to apply for a place.
