  Cleaner Post

 

 

Applications are invited for the post of Cleaner at St. Mary’s Catholic Primary School. The successful applicant will join a friendly team in a good school. To start as soon as possible after DBS checks have been completed. The Governing Committee is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

 

 

 

Required: ASAP

Working hours are: 3.30pm-5.30pm-Mon-Thur,

2.00pm- 4.00pm Fri (10 hours per week) or

6.00am -8.00am Mon -Fri

 

Term time plus 10 days

Key duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring all waste bins are emptied and refuse is removed and taken to designated disposal points to ensure the site is clean and tidy and meets with Health and Safety requirements.
    Cleaning all furniture and fittings ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are met and maintained.
    Cleaning all sanitary fixtures and fittings including lavatories and wash room facilities.
  • Cleaning all areas of the schools, ensuring correct operating procedures are followed.
  • Assisting in the whole school clean during school closure as per the school cleaning programme.
  • Undertaking any additional cleaning duties as directed by the Caretaker.
    Maintaining a flexible daily cleaning schedule of all internal areas of the school as requested.

Teaching Assistant

The Governors of St Mary’s RC Primary School are seeking to appoint a caring and committed teaching assistant to join our team. They are looking for a teaching assistant who will be committed to working within the Catholic ethos of the school and have experience of working with children with special educational needs. Experience of working on a 1:1 support basis would be beneficial. The successful candidate will become a valued part of a committed and hard-working school team and play a vital role in the success of this thriving primary school. They will be confident and capable in working with children and families, with an excellent understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality.

Normal working hours for the post is 37 hours.- term time only plus PD Days

Lunchtime Supervisors Posts

 

 

Applications are invited for the posts of Lunchtime Supervisors at St. Mary’s Catholic Primary School. The successful applicants will join a friendly team in a good school. To start as soon as possible after DBS checks have been completed. The Governing Committee is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

 

 

Required: ASAP

6 hours 15 minutes per week

(Monday – Friday 11.45 a.m. – 1.00 p.m.)



Key duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • The successful candidate will work under the direct instruction of the Deputy Headteacher to supervise children during their lunch break.
  • You will be working both inside in the dining hall where light cleaning may be required and also outside.
  • You will be reliable, conscientious, comfortable working with students aged 4- 11 years and within a team.
  • Working hours are 11.45am- 1.00pm Mon- Fri. Term time only. These days/times are subject to change each academic year.
